China Southern Airlines website provides detailed passenger information, travel information, and other information that you need to know. Simply register to www.csair.com before you travel, and learn more information about what you need. For Special Passengers who cannot order their tickets directly online, China Southern provides you service through the telephone, which is our customer service hotline 95539. Whether you order your ticket online or through our hotline, China Southern will offer you the same fare with the same discount.
2.Hearing Loss Booking System
China Southern is equipped with Hearing Loss Booking System; we can assist you with booking and other information through this telephone system. You may gain more information about this system through our website and our Magazine. If you have hearing loss, please click on “About China Southern” and search for a local China Southern office listed under “Contact Us” to book your ticket.
3.Reserve for Special Service
In order to provide better service for you, please contact our ticketing office in advance if you need any Special Service. If you did not request in advance, we try our best to meet your needs according to the actual situation.
If you wish to use portable oxygen concentration, you need to provide a doctor statement or medical certificate; if you wish to use breathing machine or continuous positive airway pressure machine, you do not need to provide any form of statement or medical certificate.
Special (Disability) Passengers should be accompanied by a doctor or nurse for their travel, in order to provide medical care before, during, and after the flight. Unless of mentally ill passengers, Special Passengers that meet the following requirements, with Passenger Travel Department consent may travel alone.
(a) With doctor statement stating that patients are suitable for traveling alone, and can take care of themselves before, during and after the flight.
(b)Illness is not serious and not dangerous
(C)Patients have adapted to the situation of their own mobility, and will not deteriorate in the near future.
4.At the Airport
If a flight is delayed, canceled or changed of schedule, China Southern will provide the updated information and hotel accommodation to you and other passengers at the gate and at the customer service desk.
We have already prepared a wheelchair for you at the airport, before and after the flight, so you will not need to request in advance.
5.On board
We will try our best to arrange the most suitable seat to meet your needs, if you are traveling with a guide dog, psychological counseling dog, or if you need extra space to stretch your body due to physical pain, we can arrange a bulk head seat for you (the first row of each cabin).
We do not limit the acceptance of Special (disability) Passengers, so you do not have to worry about your travel plan even if there are other Special Passengers.
Inside the aircraft, fifty percent of our aisle seat handrails are adjustable; you can rationally adjust to your own needs
If you are taking a flight with more than 100 seats, you can bring your own manual folding wheelchair, and we will provide you with a storage space; however, we recommend that you communicate with us in advance so that we know the specifications of your wheelchair, and we can identify if the storage space meets your storage requirements.
Since there are limitations to aircraft model, some of our flights do not provide barrier-free lavatory, and we would not be able to provide wheelchair service on board voluntarily; we recommend that you contact us to request for such service in advance to make your travel more convenient.
China Southern provides informational movies and security movies on board that contain high-contrast subtitles, and you may choose between English and Chinese.
